Vivian started practicing yoga in 2007 and completed her 200-hour Anusara Yoga teacher training with Patrick Creelmen in 2012. In her own daily practice, she focuses on creating stability of her pelvis and thighs and the strengthening of her core muscles.
For beginner students, Vivian helps them set up clear goals for their yoga practice. She uses easy-to-follow instructions to guide the students into the world of yoga. She finds that most of us in our modern lives have lower back and knee injuries. That’s why she particularly focuses on strengthening the core and thigh muscles. Once the awareness of the body is more cultivated, she then gradually targets the strengthening of the smaller muscles, allowing the students to have a sense of accomplishment as they develop their yoga practice over time.
