Born with severe asthma, Vino originally started practicing yoga to address this physical condition. Since experiencing marked improvement, Vino’s bond with yoga has been unbreakable. She studied under Paul Dallaghan and Neil Barker, and currently focuses on Ashtanga as her main practice and teaching style.
In private classes, Vino will lead students to use their “imagination,” bringing in the anatomical structure of the body (the use of the muscles and joints), describing these in simple and everyday terms to help students in their practice find safe ways to get into deep postures more easily. Connecting this practice to the internal, students will learn to let their inner energy shine forth, radiating like the sun.
