Michelle started with Hatha yoga and moved to ashtanga & pranayama practice with Paul Dallaghan, whom she completes the 500 hour certified training with. She also studies Yin yoga with Sarah Powers and completed the level 1 &2 teacher’s training.
In my yoga teaching, I encourage practitioners to start with the basic movement of combining asana and steady breathing together. Through the steady asana and breathing, the practitioners can then be aware and connect with the body on a deeper and alert level. This way of practice will bring understanding of their own body, emotions, and mind. Only when deep understanding happens, the healing process then take care of its own.
