Gladys

Yoga is an attitude towards life that develops naturally through time and experience.

Background

With Ashtanga as her primary practice, Gladys has studied pranayama with O.P. Tiwari consistently since 2004. In 2005 she completed a 200-hr Yoga Alliance certified teacher training at Centered Yoga in Thailand. In 2006, she received her Ashtanga certification from K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in India and in 2007 she came into contact with Vipassana meditation. In 2009, Gladys completed a 148 hour mandala course at Chinese Culture University.

Teaching Focus

Gladys primarily teaches the practice methods with an Ashtanga focus, but she tailors her classes according to the specific student, his or her physical condition and needs. She brings in pranayama, meditation, and relaxation techniques to her classes. Integrating these with focus and the correct use of the core, each student can find the method and quality suitable at each stage in her growth to create a “correct and perfect” practice.
