Denise started teaching in 2004, focusing on Hatha and Anusara Yoga as well as pranayama and meditation. Her meeting Master Karmal in 2006 has helped her understand the mission of the yoga lineage.
Denise breaks down the specifics of asana using Universal Alignment Principles, helping students to use their muscles, bones, and joints to find the correct alignment and get into the asanas. With the use of props, students will be able to increase their strength and flexibility. Guiding students in pranayama will help them become more aware of their bodies and bring them into a conscious practice, finding a balance of body and spirit.
